To Touch Life, Come Home to Yourself
Speaker: Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
Synopsis:It is by going back to ourselves that we can reach out to others and to the wonders of life, explains Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Mindfulness can intervene in every situation. If we feel lonely or empty, we often find ways to avoid touching that feeling by reading, watching TV or talking on the phone. But this contact is artificial, because we have not gone back to ourselves. Buddhism teaches that is possible to come home to yourself and perform small miracles every day – in breathing, stepping, brushing our teeth or dinking tea with awareness. With each breath and step, you can touch the ultimate dimension. You can live deeply each moment of your life.
